Meeting Minutes – 01/21/14

CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by President Dick Durbin.  

MEMBERS PRESENT:  Don Gainey, Justin Sutton, Jason Meredith, Dusty Stacy, Billy Owens, Rodger Timmons, Dick Durbin, Rick Johnson, John Vickers, John Rudolph, Mike Thomas, Les Shope, Larry Morris, Bryce Harvey (P). 

MEETING AGENDA:  The meeting agenda was reviewed. It was accepted by general consensus.

PRIOR MEETING MINUTES:  Dick Durbin advised that the minutes from the meeting of 01/07/2014 had been posted on the web site, and asked if there were any changes. There were none. The minutes were accepted by general consensus.

TREASURER’S REPORT:  Treasurer John Rudolph provided the following treasurer’s report:
On Hand: $ 621.05
Checking: $2,327.23
Credits: $1,371.96
Balance: $1,576.32
Rodger Timmons moved to accept the treasurer’s report; Justin Sutton seconded the motion. The treasurer’s report was accepted as presented.

INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS:  There were no guests at this meeting.

NEW BUSINESS:
There was no new business that required club attention.

OLD BUSINESS:
There was no old business that required club attention.

TOURNAMENT CHAIRMAN’S REPORT:  
Tournament chairman Les Shope provided a report on the Classic, which was held on Kissimmee Lake on January 19, 2014. It seems that everyone who was able to pre-fish the tournament had high hopes, as there were quite a number of fish caught. However, tournament day turned out to be cold and blustery, and only 6 fish total were caught. Following are the results:
1)Rick Johnson – 6.813 pounds
2)Les Shope – 2.813 pounds
3)John Beal – 2.125 pounds
Rick had 3 fish, Les had 2 fish, and John had 1. Tough day!!!!

DOLLAR POT:  The dollar pot was won by Bryce Harvey, who put in just before the draw.  

ADJOURN:  There being no further business, Rodger Timmons moved that the meeting be adjourned; this motion was seconded by John Rudolph. The meeting was adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
