Meeting Minutes – 07/15/14
CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by President Dick Durbin.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Billy Owens, Don Gainey, Rodger Timmons, Dick Durbin, Bryce Harvey, John Beal, John Rudolph, Les Shope, Mike Thomas, Larry Morris, Rick Johnson, John Vickers, Marty Spears, Van Sutton, Dusty Stacy, Justin Sutton, Charlie Melton, Dallas Johnson, Kevin Copland, Lou Comer (p).
MEETING AGENDA: The meeting agenda was reviewed. It was accepted by general consensus.
PRIOR MEETING MINUTES: Dick Durbin advised that the minutes of the 06/01/2014 meeting had been posted on the web site. He asked if there were any changes. There were none. John Rudolph moved to accept the minutes as posted; Don Gainey seconded the motion. The motion passed.
TREASURER’S REPORT: Treasurer John Rudolph provided the following treasurer’s report:

$1,309.11John Vickers moved to accept the treasurer’s report; Justin Sutton seconded the motion. The motion passed.
INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS: There were no guests present at this meeting.
NEW BUSINESS:
Larry Morris announced his resignation as Secretary, and his desire to be placed in an inactive status for the remainder of the year. He states that he does not feel that he will be able to fish tournaments any longer, due to some problems with his back.
OLD BUSINESS:
John Rudolph announced that the Saturdays that the club will be assisting with the handicapped children at Wallwood Scout Camp is 07/26/2014, 08/02/2014 and 08/09/2014. He requested that any member who may be able to assist with this to please come out. Not only is it a great time for the kids, but it is extremely fulfilling for the adult persons helping out.
TOURNAMENT CHAIRMAN’S REPORT:
Tournament chairman Les Shope oversaw the pairings for the Lake Talquin tournament to be held on Saturday, 07/19/2014. The pairings are as follows:

DOLLAR POT:
The dollar pot was won by Larry Morris.
ADJOURN:
There being no further business to come before the club, Justin Sutton moved that the meeting be adjourned; Marty Spears seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 8:23 p.m.
