Meeting Minutes – 03/04/14
CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by President Dick Durbin.
MEMBERS PRESENT:
Don Gainey, Justin Sutton, Dusty Stacy, Dallas Johnson, Mike Thomas, Rick Johnson, Larry Morris, Les Shope, John Vickers, Billy Owens, John Rudolph, Dick Durbin, Van Sutton (P), Bryce Harvey (P).
MEETING AGENDA:
The meeting agenda was reviewed. It was accepted by general consensus.
PRIOR MEETING MINUTES:
Dick Durbin advised that the minutes from the meeting of 02/18/2014 had been posted on the web site. He asked if there were any changes. There were none. Les Shope moved to accept the minutes as posted; Billy Owens seconded the motion. The motion passed.
TREASURER’S REPORT:
Treasurer John Rudolph provided the following treasurer’s report:

INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS:

NEW BUSINESS:
John Rudolph announced plans to spread Bob McCann’s ashes on Lake Talquin this Saturday, 3/8/14 at 3:00. He said that the funeral home had plans to have someone filming this activity.
OLD BUSINESS:
Jerseys:Billy Owens asked about the status of the jerseys. As of yet, they have not been shipped that we know of. They are supposed to be shipped to Rick Johnson’s address, and he said he hasn’t seen any kids in his neighborhood walking around wearing them. Bryce Harvey provided the telephone number for G-2 Gemini, in case any of the members wanted to call them.

Tournament chairman Les Shope announced the outcome of the 02/23/2014 tournament held on the lower Apalachicola River. The top 10 finishers are as follows:

Les announced that the next tournament will be held on 03/22/2014 at Lake Seminole. A launch site will be selected at the meeting prior to the tournament.
Dick announced that the next meeting is scheduled for 03/18/14.
DOLLAR POT:
The dollar pot was won by John Vickers.
ADJOURN:
There being no further business, John Vickers moved that the meeting be adjourned; this motion was seconded by Billy Owens. The meeting was adjourned at 8:23 p.m.
